Female 1: We noticed that there was a real difference during the editing process between the first round and the second. That sorts to lead into how we found it.
The first time around, we found it a chance but for the second time we just kind of let the counter roll. I think we had kind of more natural transitions. We had maybe two or three long segments and usually we have a couple of different camera angles to work with but we didn’t stop and start on what we achieve of.
Female 2: It is better to do the full run through a couple of times and a couple of different positions and then take that and cut what we want from that. And anything, it is easier to cut something down and add something to it that you can add to, but if you don’t have it but we have more than you need, we could always cut away from that.
The first run through of this script that we did, you would move away from the counters as soon we finished speaking so it is kind of hard. And with that, it’s good to have a pause even if it is you looking at the screen for maybe five seconds even though you are not speaking, because then, it gave me a little more to work with and to cut.
Even you use the flip and use it with Windows movie maker. You have to leave the files where they are, until you were done with the project and it has become its final movie because if you move them, even if you have them in your desktop and you move them into another folder, then the program, it is still pulling them from the original path that you put it in from.
So, I would keep all your footage from the beginning until five years in the future, you know, when you are not going to use it anymore. Keep all the footage in the same location.
Female 1: There is another really great thing about movie maker and we said it was fairly easy to use, but some of the effects that transitioned between different clips in the video, you know, folding down the pages, some of those effects. It looks attractive and as you said, it is very easy to set up.
Female 2: Yes, it is really and if you can want them click and drag, you can use one of those movie maker, it is that simple. It gives you a whole selection of transitions and you just pick the one you want and you drag it and drop it.
