Vogue Modded With REV A GPS And Vista - Software Review
Hey. This is Dash from smartphonejunkie.com here today this is -- with HTC Touch through Verizon. Also known as the 6900. This is one of my customer’s phones at my PhoneTel at my site and they run $60 and they include shipping back to you. And you get whatever you want on the phone. Off the site, everything is free. You’re supposed to pay for your programs, we got you hooked up so don’t worry about. That site is smartphonejunkie.com. Once again, it’s smartphonejunkie.com.
Okay, what I want to show you is this is going to be the whole Vista Interface if I decided to go into this phone. The product plug-in though, as you can see, everything will be Vista, the custom Vista dialer is right there and then all the product plug-in. Then you got Ultimate Search which you can search anything you want; news, movies, Wikipedia, dictionary, YouTube, Google, Yahoo, all that good stuff and that’s a custom Vista -- skin.
Okay. Well, and then we have click menu for the dropdown just like a real computer. A real nice little app. I will show you the SPB menu, quick background color to match of course. You got to do it that way, you know. I go to Mobile Shell, just kind of --with these settings by default through our Programs.
And you can either use the arrow. You’re going to swipe your finger, just like so. I’ll close out of that and then got the cube which is done in Vista also. So it’s like a whole theme in one in this phone. We got the Vista icons, the matching Vista clock up there. And we also have the same Verizon. I’m not sure if you can quite see that. This is Vista charge right there instead of Verizon which is a nice little addition.
This phone, you got your apps right there. Well he hasn’t chosen well, what he wants the most upfront at least. Contacts, your Weather, change it from vibrate to ringtone, you know it’s silent to regular, all that good stuff and then your music player you can launch which is from HTC Audio Manger, which is scroll in all your manager for your music or the regular Windows Media Player.
Then up here, swipe your finger across, you got UltimateLaunch which is a beautiful app. Let’s see here. I’ll show you a program called iPhones. It goes with a custom Vista wait cursor, spinning right there. That’s an app quite a chunker so it takes up a little bit of space. So it takes just a second to load and also, he has many of games on here, so cancels them.
As you can see this—that the Windows Vista background to match, just like so. Oops, click that on something. My fault. Try to adjust the camera so forgive me. -- Random buttons, there we go. Just like the iPhone. Real nice. You can paste many pages as you want on here. -- apps into exit. Just click the battery meter. We just accidentally opened that so, get back to the home screen.
What else do we have on here? What a goodie. This kind of show you—we have this over clock to 624MHz which is faster than the 400 stack that came with it. I use a lot of little—you know programs personally use called blockers games, all that good stuff. And I couldn’t find a Vista version of this but you hold down the camera button. Yeah it shut down. PS shut XP. You can shut soft crescent to turn the light off which is sleep mode or you can shut down the phone all the way through radio and everything.
That’s basically the--Vista version of this phone. The nice part about this, this is a touch and I’ll tell you this is the Red A ROM. This is actually a Red A on top of that is custom ROM right here that I built has GPS. So this one, it only touches—there’s a lot—quite a few out there now. But this one is the first touches to actually have a GPS on. It’s not released by any provider yet. This is custom made and custom cooked in a kitchen and this ROM is a beast. It runs very fast, Windows Mobile 6.1. I’ll show you that so you can so all the haters out there that I don’t believe. We can show that’s actually Windows Mobile 6.1.
Now we’re going to the device info, my phone, I can place info, maybe under device. And then this show in this part of --. Windows Mobile 6.1 professional. As I said earlier I have 624. This one has a 400MHz processor. And that’s basically it. We have a lot of other programs. Just not in use right now because I wasn’t sure what he was going to use mainly but that’s the main just to the phone
And this once again was Dash; the co-owner/—actually co-founder if she says of smartphonejunkie.com. And we have everything you need and more at the site; movies, games, applications; all for free. Don’t worry about buying it. We got you covered on that. And hopefully we will see you soon at smartphonejunkie.com. And once again, this was Dash. Hope you guys enjoyed the video and peace.
