Hey guys. Jon Retttinger with www.jon4llakers.com and I’m going to give you a demonstration of the new Google application for the iPhone. That’s a free download from the apps store. There was a Google application before but this new one ads voice activated searching which is very cool.
So I’ll give you guys a quick demonstration to show you what it does. So there is the application right there you can see in the upper corner on the other side the big G. so go ahead and hit that and actually take advantage at the accelerometer. So you put it up to your head, you hear a beep. You can save your search. So I’ll give you guys an example right now. So go ahead and hit the button. See it launch out, move it to my head, jon4lakers, its working. As soon as I put it up to my ear I heard a beep as well. Finished?
Jon4lakers technology video, news and review, you can just hit it. It’s great if you want to take a quick Google search here. I want to see a real quick search, don’t want to type it in. find the iPhones keyboard and all. Whatever. It’s really a nice application. Another neat thing it does is taking advantage of the built in GPS in the phone. So for example I’m going to search for Chinese foods. Give me a second here. Chinese food working.
I love Chinese food. So in a close up is a full list of Chinese restaurants in your area which is very cool. I’m going to start a restaurant or any sort of business that’s in your area and I’ll pull it up. It can also search your contact your contacts and you see it with the other Google applications as well. It really seems to be a neat feature. It’s not going to revolutionize everything. It’s just another added bonus that you get with Google adds apple on the iPhone.
