I'm not going to sugar coat this. WET isn’t very good. For those of you who have been following the game’s progress over the last year. Its not undeniable fact, it’s probably not an easy concept to deal with.
You were promised an action pack through it ground breaking physics wrap in a sexy little grind house package. And you know what, that’s not what we got.
Well, the guy was a shooter, sure but as far as the physics go. Yes, they could be better.
We've seen these slow motion acrobatics before and well being an original issue to crime per se. It is a problem when you relied this heavily on a concept and then failed to do it with quality. I mean, what's he sliding on here?
Don’t get me wrong me. it’s obvious that there was effort putting into making this game. Good. The psycho ability sound track, load screen trailers, an optional film grade, also to enhance the game’s supposed grand house mimic. But you know what doesn’t, the rest of the game.
Nothing else but the characters or story line in WET has a grind house feel. Sure we could put film grand over an episode of ex-play like Gwen Tarantino chose the sound track. But that doesn’t mean its grand house film.
Look, if you want to play a game as a character that you know nothing about except that you broods roams in the dessert. It has a vicious drinking problem and does this. Then by all means get WET.
If not, do yourself a favor in awkward -- as far away for this one as you can. WET gets a two out of five.
