Well you know middle of April, usually I am out here and I have got things going in the yard, if you are like me it is just been too cold to really do to much. However, just a reminder, get down your lawn products, pre-emergence, lime also calcium, you can use that instead of lime seems to work a little bit faster. The other things to notice is that you do have spring perennials coming up and those will continue to kind of begin to grow even in this cold weather, take a drive around, take a look at what is going on in the spring.
It is a really great time of the year, listen for the spring peepers. We have some narrow wet lands that have been going. Other thing you want to do is check your perennial garden, see if there is a hole there that you want to feel with some early perennials. The Hellebore is a great plant to use for those early colors. You know, head over to the nursery, take a look at what they have, it is a nice time of the year to look at some of those really early spring flowering plants and shrubs and see where they might go in your garden.
Again, check back on the website off and we will be updating frequently throughout the week.
