Water Color Crayon Storage Tips

Hey, everybody! This is another video for the “Grrr to great tips”, I guess if you could call it that. Getting organized this month and some people want to know how I store the water color wonder crayons, if they don’t want to use the tins. So for me I love the tins when I go to a workshop or something like that but at home I find myself constantly going in and out the different tins to get the colors that I want because it might be an earth or a regal or something like that so going in and out of all the different tins kind of drives me crazy.

So a few years ago, some friends of mine Sussie and Diddy gave me this candle holder they got it I think at Hallmark. But of course you know, get creative, go out there and look at all the different places that you can find, candle holders and things. So this became my new water color crayon home, and I love it because I can pick and take it with me and I have all the 48 colors plus the neutrals in here.

So this just sits on my desk and then I can grab them and they’re all right there. And then if I do have to go to a workshop or something, I just pick up the ones I want and put it in the tin then I go.

Now, something else you can do just to keep them on hand is a big mug. This was something like Leadership 2004, so this is a really old mug. But it’s great for holding lots of these and sometimes I’ll just set this out on the table and people can just grab the colors that they want.
