Roger: Roger from Winter Park, California. Can drinking water lower your cholesterol levels?
Mimi Ghosh: This is a great question, Roger. Does drinking water actually lower your cholesterol?
Drinking water does a lot of important things. If you have a good diet, part of that should be drinking a lot of water. So in that way in turn it does improve your cholesterol.
Also, if you exercise, this is good for lowering your cholesterol, and of course when you exercise, you sweat, and you want to make sure you replace the fluids properly.
So, drinking water may not directly lower your cholesterol, but indirectly, is very important to your health.
Thank you for your question!
