Franz Wisner: You know, I’ve traveled the world for the last couple of years for my book How the World Makes Loves which is a look at love, dating, romance, all over the planet. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned, is that location and love go hand in hand. Here’s the equation, nice blue water, nice sands, a bar nearby—love is in the air.
If I had a data, I’d bring her right here. Guys, here’s a tip. When you’re bringing a date to the Bermuda, make sure you have it all lined up—nice corner spot here overlooking the water—honey to us.
Perry Robinson: Coconuts are very nice. Coconuts are very different, sort of the ambience, the reason why the place was built is to do a very unique experience down here which I think we’ve covered. So it works well. People enjoy it.
Franz Wisner: You know, tourists all over the world, this sounds like one of the most romantic experience is available.
Perry Robinson: Well, you know, this is the most romantic spot to fall in love. The romantic spot is actually right down on the beach. That is one of the areas that we really have sort of corner that market.
Franz Wisner: So they’d go right out there on the beach?
Perry Robinson: Now the beach is actually—beach dining you have to make a reservation and the reason why we do that is because we only have limited space for twelve couples. Each couples are on their own and we try to space the tables away from each other so you feel that you’re on the beach, a very romantic, you have your own little table. We have the toque douches down there and the sand in your toes and listen to the surf, it’s such a romantic place to fall in love—absolutely wonderful.
Synde Kaufman: A girl friend.
Wayne Kaufman: Yeah, a friend actually recommended it.
Synde Kaufman: Recommend—she said, “You have to find this restaurant. It’s in the cliffs.” She said it’s absolutely amazing. You could eat right on the beach if you want, you know, feed in the sand, so there’s great food.
Wayne Kaufman: Very romantic. A quiet beach.
Synde Kaufman: It’s on a beach.
Wayne Kaufman: A beautiful meal on the beach, wonderful view.
Synde Kaufman: Great music.
Wayne Kaufman: A perfect romantic night.
Franz Wisner: You know, I have this friend. A big road traveler and everywhere, when he’s going to get engaged, he sis a world search of the most romantic spots all over the planet and it was right here in Bermuda, see why? The nice blue waters, pink sands, so grab a bottle of champagne, rent out a bout and took his girlfriend out on a sunset cruise—popped the question and she said yes. Now they’re here on their anniversary. There’s something about love in the island that just go hand in hand. That’s why so many couples come here for their weddings, to celebrate love—magic. Where’s my date?
