Hey guys today I did a look that incorporates a lot of the colors from the upcoming MAC collection the makeup art cosmetics collection is what’s it called and I was able to get the stuff early because I went to the launch event but it does not actually release until the 20th I think. But if you’re I’m sure you know MAC sometimes doesn’t really stick with those dates exactly call your counter or MAC store or wherever you go and ask them exactly what’s its going to release that you’ll know because I don’t know.
He used a lot of colors and then kind of a yellowy gold into a really, really bright hot pink added some orange underneath a used a pigment from collection a lot of the eye shadows like products and stuff so I hope you guys enjoy and if you want to see how I did it then keep watching.
Alright so let’s always go ahead and apply a base to prevent creasing. I did use the benefit FYI. Next I’m going to apply a white color base, this NYX jumbo eye shadow pencil in milk and I’m just dab that on all over my lid with my finger and you think bright colors I find that using a white base really kind of makes them pop especially if your going to use pink.
You know I am going to take the technical liner and obviously orange looks like that and I’m going to apply that to my lash line and you don’t have to be super precise with it this is kind of like my base for under so it’s going to be very orange I’m going in just to about right there.
Okay so now I’m going to start with my lightest pink and this one is called Maira’s Mood and I’m just going to use that with a flat brush and I’m going to pack that on from the innermost corner of my lid all the way to about the outer force so about three quarters the way in. Right now for the metal cart I’m taking purple shower she looks like. She’s going flip the brush over and dad got right over the pink right in the middle of the lid.
Right now for the outer corner I’m going to the really, really bright dark pink and this one is the pigment in brash bold. It’s very; very bright in 10 minutes they got to be careful so I’m going to use a flatter brush to apply like a stiffer flatter brush like a MAC 242 and I’m just going to dip just a little bit right into the pigment into the tip of the brush and mush it in to tap whatever is the lose and then I’m just going to lightly have that in the outer corner to make sure unlike in the frame and kind of Pat it upward a little bit so that the most color is kind of against the lash line and then this outer corner and whatever is left your just going to kind of pat that upward kind of into the crease area and kind of make a rounded outer shape with that.
I’m just going to push it into the crease. Alright now you don’t want to lose any of that intensity so blend that lid that purple shower color that we use, the one in the middle, let’s take the same brush that you use for that purple shower color and just apply a little bit more and pat it right in between that pink and the purple and then that creates a really, really blend and adds a little bit more intensity as well. Alright then for that outer edge you definitely don’t want that pink to look harsh so I’m going to take my Sigma SS224 brush and that really blends nicely and just go around the outer edge of color.
You don’t want to go over anything on the lid. I didn’t actually do that I was just— well it’s kind of crazy. Alright and then I’m going to go back with the slightest pink which was the Maera’s Mood and just kind of get that same brush right into the color and go around the edge of everything.
To create that pretty effect on the inner corner, I’m going to use a MAC 214 brush. Wow not focusing and you just press the wave— love this color so, so pretty, I mean put just a little bit right here and just like that and then a little bit right here and this blend so, so beautifully with that pink so you can just kind of tap it just like that.
Right then for orange, I’m just going to use the same brush, you can flip it over or whatever, this is off the page and it’s amazing I love this orange it’s probably my favorite orange, it reminds me of fire spot but maybe just a little brighter and a little lighter and I’m just applying that over the orange. Eyeliner that we put down and you can kind of pull it down just a little bit so it doesn’t look— you know so it’s not just sticking to the line.
Now this outer corner, I’m going to fill in that area right underneath the pink so that the orange kind of goes into the pink and creates a really cool effects like fading upward into the pink. Alright so for my liner I’m just going to use a little bit of blitz and glitz fluid line. It’s just like black chalk but with gold shimmer so I like that. We’re going to apply that really quickly and that I’m going to apply my mascara and some false lashes. I’ll tell you the ones I use when I come back and that’s it.
Okay, so for the rest of the look I used— did I tell you what kind of eyeliner, yeah. I used the blitz and glitz fluidline and applied that just to say normally, do upcream or gel eyeliner. I do have a video on eyeliner if you want to check that out. And then I applied my Cover Girl Lash plus mascara. This is my favorite right now and then I applied my Ardell false lashes and number 105 and their kind of from me their the same length as my normal lashes so they just kind of add a little bit of thickness and I cut off the inner fourth of them so that their not you know just for it to look more natural on me.
For the rest of the look for my lips, I use two different lip products and I posted a review or I haven’t phoned it yet but I should have posted the review of the collection before this video. Anyways, I use two different lip products but this one high strong it’s a frost— no. But then I put this over it and it’s called young thing. It reminds me a lot of see through it’s like exactly like see through but maybe just a little more less see through, it’s a little more opaque.
And so I like that and I think it kind of created a pretty combo but I’m not crazy about the lipstick on its own and then on my cheeks. I didn’t get any blushes from the collection but I did use my MAC blush this is peachy keen and it reminds a lot of NARs if you have that the peachy keen is right there and that’s it I hope you guys enjoyed it. I’m going to be doing so many more looks of MAC collection to my face so applied merely two or three. But there are definitely a lot of color combinations and all kinds of cool stuff that you can do with that collection so I hope you guys enjoyed it and I’ll talk to you all very soon, bye.
