Hi everyone, this is Techno Dave with another installment of web2.0 blog tips. This week, I would like to introduce everyone to a very cool blog tool that is free. I am talking about the Buzzcloud Randomizer. Now, I found out about this particular tool while I was visiting my favorite guitar lesson blog at Riff TV. If you notice in the right hand column at the Riff TV guitar lesson blog there is a Buzzcloud and just above the Buzzcloud, there is a randomize button. Just click the button and you will see that it will randomize the content of the buzzcloud. Now, the Buzzcloud Randomizer is available at phrisq.com. For all of us bloggers, side owners and anyone who has an audience at their website who is interested in a Buzzcloud Randomizer, we want to pay special attention to the first link on the upper right, the Buzzcloud Randomizer code link. Let us go over there and click that link and it takes us to the webmaster code page and we see there are several different Buzzcloud Randomizers available. There are two narrow randomizers which are 160x600 side bar randomizers. Here is an example of one of those, just click the randomize button and it will randomize the buzzcloud for us and there are two different 160x600 each with different content, then there is a 350x370 main page content buzzcloud. In other words, you can put it into the main content of a blog post or on a webpage and your site audience and visitors can use it from there and then there are two of those and each one of those has different content and then for the die hard, there is actually a double for those of you who want to offer a randomizer with two different buzzclouds.
Okay, it is very easy to implement this. Let us go back up to the top and let us highlight the code in one of the 160x600 side bar buzzcloud randomizers and let us right click and let us copy and we will open up our editor which I happen to use Dream Weaver and I have a page ready to go. I am going to go into the code view and I am going to paste the code in and there it is. Now, I am going to go back to phrisq. I am going to get my page ready here and just because I want you to be able to look at the actual larger buzzcloud randomizer that would go in the main content of the page, I am going to grab that code by highlighting the code, right click and copy, go back into my editor and I am just going to paste that in. I am going to save the changes and preview, and there you have it. Buzzcloud Randomizers available free at phrisq.com. Now, I hope you enjoyed this. I hope you use this. This is very cool. Your audience will really enjoy this. These are good for your users and they are novelty. They are very cool things. So, feel free to stop by phrisq and don’t forget to check in next week with Techno Dave at Web 2.0 Blog Tips and thank you. I hope you enjoyed it.
