Greetings! And welcome to episode number 4 of Web Review TV. I am your host Edward Perry and today we are going to review a website called FutureMe.org. FutureMe.org is an interesting little website that someone came up with. It's limited in what you can do and frankly, I don't think it's going to improve your life, but if you get a email from the past would be a really fun thing once in a while. So let's just go to the website.
As you can see, we are at FutureMe.org. It's pretty straight forward, Create an email to send to the future! So we will do
Email Start (00:00:52)
coments@webreviewtv.com
Subject: Blast from the past Episode 4.
Dear FutureMe,
Do you remember watching episode 4 of webreviewtv.com.
Email End (00:01:29)
Well, I mean it's straight forward, it's like sending an email. You can make this Private or Public. We just forgot of webreviewtv.com. We can make this Public or Private, we're going to make this Public (but anonymous). Send to the future. If you try to do it anything less than 30 days, I believe, it will reject. So we will put in our little security validation that we are human. We will send this to the future. You must send this 90 days into the future. So at minimum, we have to go November, December, January, February, so let's put it to February 25, 2009.
We'll send this to the future. Okay, the only other thing is since I can't see this for another 90 days, we will have to get back to this someday and bring it up in another episode. Now we can see what other viewers have said. Anyway, and it has a little bit of advertising. Anyway, that's a site.
Okay, as you can see the possibilities are there, but to me, this seems more of something performing than it could be for any kind of life or work improvement. Well, thanks for watching. If you have any comments or suggestions, please send in your comments at WebReviewTv.com. In the next episode, we will review a popular website called TinyURL.com. Have a happy tech day.
