Hello, I’m Peggy Porschen, welcome to my cakes video, come in.
I got into cake decorating when I was about 14 years old that started as a hobby and I enjoyed it so much that we’ve made all for family and friends and about 8 years ago I decided to move to London and trained at the pastry shop at the Cordon Bleu and then I ditched evening coffee and baked the cakes specialized my cup into cake decorating.
I started my business as a one person company basically just by myself and I think I was really lucky to be at the right time and the right place and got really good jobs from as such and the ball started rolling and little bit of the strong really fast, even 3 years and now we’re about 5 people in the company; in summertime when it’s busy it will be more and it’s going really well.
I would say my signature style and my signature look is very feminine and pretty, very detailed; lots of pink and flowers, stripes, polka dots; basically the ultimate girly dream of cakes.
My secret ingredient I would say that to me it’s really important as on a trade pastry shop, the cakes do taste as good as they look, and therefore we use mainly organic ingredients that was possible and everything is really fresh; we don’t use any aromas or any flavor and essences, so we really just stick to fresh ingredients; everything was homemade and you can taste it in the end of the (--).
