Eric: Hi everyone and this is Eric Beck and welcome to IndyMogul extra and we have been getting a lot of comments and questions that I can not take in the regular show so I want to take some time and get back to you guys.
We have been getting tons of questions for explosions and muzzle flares from great viewers like, Charleslaport, GolfPirate, Rifleman500x, Robertcool123, PTVoftheFuture, Tyrmanlow, Cerebrus and DavidHM.
Guys, the best way to do this is to get to detonationfilms.com they have tons of free explosion, muzzle flares, spent shell casings and all the stuff that you can just throw into your editing program.
Roman and Bunny Phil Trodan asking about prop weapons like guns, rifles and swords. Now the best thing I found for this is just go out, buy some cheap toys and then paint it a more realistic-ish color but you know you do not want to run around real looking fake gun. Realistic-ish.
Amber Lucy Kruden he is making a movie where he needs a bone breaking effects and the thing about this and a lot of other things in film is that the sound effect that is really going to sell it, sometimes even more than the visual. For a bone breaking effect I would not even do any kind of special effect just get that great crunching sound. A great place to get free sound effects is the free sound project in flashkit.com. Now if you can not find the sound effect you want online, you can always make your own. Get really close into your microphone and bite into a piece of celery or carrot or something else. Experiment.

Carl: Hey it is me Carl. Looks like I had a little problem with the glue.
Eric: It is okay man; Everyone gets crazy with the glue sometimes. Just know your limits. My uncle died of glue.
Jorowi: You say that you want comments from us but you are giving us a subliminal message. See right there? The phone is off the hook which means you do not want to hear from us.
Eric: Well, Jorowi the reason that that phone is it is just decoration and it is sideways mounted to the wall so if I put it normally on the hook, it would fall off. We want you to call. We value your comments. Please call in we do not know why we do not want you to call. I do not understand where you are getting these crazy ideas. Come on.
Jorowi: Come on.
Eric: The Silver Ace wrote in and wants to know about a blood canon. He says that he is making a horror movie and needs blood to get all over the place. My advice is to modify the blood shooter from the pilot episode and put in a big blood reservoir at the end. Maybe a wide mouth funnel or something fills that with a bunch of blood. Pump up your tank as much as you can go without breaking it and that should shoot blood all over the place.
Speaking of the blood shooter we have a couple of people including spots wood write in and say all I built is a Hudson sprayer. Basically it is a bug sprayer that you can get at most hardware stores. The difference with the tube and the bottle is I think a little cheaper but it has the same principle. It has a built in pump and it has a built in release valve.
Bear in mind I was thinking of people who want multiple gunshot effects where it is going to be cheaper to make two or four of these rigs or buy three or more of these bug sprayers.
AnimeWiz wrote in and said he is making a samurai movie and he needs a full on samurai armor suit for less than fifty dollars. I think I may have to make a whole show about that.
Another project we want to devote a whole show is fake head. We got comments from Punizerizer99 and pauldebron and a bunch of other people who wants heads chopped off, heads exploding, finger going into eye sockets, tons of gross stuff. Keep watching we will be going to do that soon.
