I am Steve Terrano, Welcome to this episode of body performance. I am going to try to begin answering all the questions on my forum and on youtube in videos because I just do not seem to have enough time during the day especially when I am busy with clients and other things so I apologize and I am not getting back to your questions quickly as possible. Couple of question come up on the forums and on youtube:
1. People who are exercising excessively, I mean there are going at it and they are watching their diets and they really cutting back in their calories. They kind of realize that their weight loss is going gangbusters and they have been doing really well but pretty soon they begin to crash. They do no have same energy and stamina so it can not get through the works outs. This is not a good thing basically it was probably happening is if other things are all in line, meaning you are not under stress, you are getting enough sleep, life is good. What is probably happening is you are running out of fuel meaning your exercising excessively on too little calories, now you can not keep massive weight loss like that up or massive activities like that up for a long periods of time without crashing.
In little situations I know we want to do this but I suggest either exercising a little bit less or eating just a little bit more. In this way we do not have such a large calorie dispersion, or such a large calorie deficit. We are not able to recover from your work outs or get through the day. So if you are running out of gas try that. Another suggestion here people emailing asking Steve I still have some body fat you know around my chest, around my stomach, on my legs, now what can I do to get rid of it? Man, I really hate to sound like a broken record but it is the same thing, if you have excess body fat, you still need to diet and exercise. You decrease that caloric deficit on an ongoing basis. I know it takes time but it is consistent and persistent diet and cardio because anytime you have excess fat that means you are still like a surplus or I should say you have not created enough of deficit to rid your body from that fat. Alright keep that in mind. Love your body.
