I am Steve Turano. Welcome to this episode of Body Performance. There are wide variety of reasons why people don’t or won’t lose weight. Now I hear excuses all the time. But the three main reasons I hear why people won’t lose weight are these. Number one: I do not know what to do. I do not have the knowledge. And this is understandable. I mean, there is so much information or more accurately misinformation on TV, the internet, in newspapers and magazines, that is no wonder people are not sure what to do. Number two: People just don’t want it badly enough. Oh sure, they are not crazy about being overweight but it is not enough to get them off their rear ends to do something. Sure, they want to be fitter but that want or need, it just is not great enough to make them do anything. And third and probably most important is this. People have a fear of failing. And that is understandable. If you tried to lose weight in the past and you have not been successful, you are going to be sort of jading but I ask people this. If you have not been taught the correct way to lose weight how could you have failed. And that is why I do this, I go over 140 videos on my website. Take a look at them, watch them all, watch a few a day, and you will begin to understand the concepts of how weight loss and weight gain occur. But those are the three reasons why people don’t lose weight. They don’t want it. They don’t understand it or they are fearful of it. Love your body.
