Weight Loss Pills

I am Steve Turano. Welcome to this episode of Body Performance. My purpose in putting out these weight loss videos is to help educate the consumer about how weight loss and fitness occur. That way, you can take this knowledge and you can apply it to your own life to meet your needs. You apply this knowledge to your diet, your workout program, so it helps you achieve your goals. I put out a video a couple of months ago about weight loss pills and I said they didn’t work. Now, Jim Marbo was nice enough to send me this article that he found in the internet. As a matter of fact this information was just presented on the news. The Federal Trade Commission just cracked down on a number of weight loss pill manufacturers, Xenadrine, One-A-Day, CortiSlim and TrimSpa daily fined millions of dollars for making these false claims. They are not able to make these claims unless they can back it up with scientific evidence and prove and they were not able to do that. As a matter of fact, the FTC is going after another company that is marketing a weight loss Transdermal patch where the active ingredient is supposedly sea kelp. Listen, be careful what you buy and I wouldn’t steer you wrong because I have got nothing to sell you. Love your body. I will see you next time.
