Weight Loss Trade Off

Welcome to this episode of body performance I am Steve Terrano. A lot of people when they start the weight loss process they want to see results now, immediately, today. People once asked me, Steve, I have to go to a wedding next week I need to lose five pounds. What should I do? Well you should have asked me last month not yesterday.

Or hey I have got my class reunion on Tuesday what should I do? Men it is a little late to be asking for advice. Now if you gain weight over five or ten years or even 20 years and it takes you six months to lose that or even a year to lose that, that is really not much of a sacrifice for 20 years of inactivity and poor eating. I mean if you had 20 years of bad investing of losing money but you could re coop it in six months or a year that is not a bad trade off.

So safe in with weight lost, you have to be patient, you got to be disciplined but you got to understand it does not happen immediately. It takes time, so if you have been over weight for five, ten or 15 years and takes you six months to get in shape that is a great trade off. Not a bad trade off to have the rest of your life of being in good shape. Love your body. I will see you next time.
