In our next door, we have the Paramount Theatre. If you were here tonight, you could see Henry found to pull up on his Harley to check out the Jimmy Buffett concert. Sold out? I do not think so. Call our concierge and she will take good care of you.
And just right up the block toward the capital is the Austin Museum of Art with its unique focus on 20th Century American Art.
Of course, know that at Austin in March to November would not be complete without looking at Austin’s famous bat bridge, the homes of the largest urban colony in North America. But make sure you check with the concierge about a couple of great options when joining the spectacle from a various special vintage point that most in the crowd will not know about. Austin is home to Wholl-Foods Market in 80,000 square foot made of culinary delight, a wonderful place to start your culinary tour of Austin. Danelle Awtrey: Of course Austin is a very casual town and there are some fine casual alternatives like here at Shady Grove where you can hear live music on Thursday night. Come on and buy, drink a shady thing and then take a cab back to the hotel.

Blake Miller: Whether you are the sporty-type or just out for leisurely strolling, you have to check out Austin’s town like hike and bike trail, where natural scenery abounds and you should want to run in some locals. Some folks say that the crown jewel of Austin can be found right here in Zilker Park, Barton Springs Pool. The pool is open year-round, but be warned, its natural spring fed waters are constant in 68 degrees, worst in the summer, warmest in the winter that only those party in hell swimmers need upon.
The capital of Texas is also a home to the University of Texas at Austin. You can spend hours around the campus at nearby museums or check with the concierge desk for the hottest tickets to longhorn sports.
Up here on Mount Banal could be the best seat in the house. There is a legend that it was once called Antoinette Slip after Dawson left to her death to avoid capture by Indians. There are some pretty sure drops up there, so if you bring the little ones, be sure to keep an eye on them.
