What Are Copyrights
Copyright, what is it? From about.com, Jennifer Curden simply explain the definition, copyright is the right of the owner to reproduce or permit someone else to reproduce copyrighted works. Some of those copyrighted works are literately works like computer programs, stories, articles and journals, graphics, and pictures, blue prints of architecture, music and lyrics, sound recordings, movies, screen plays, and plays. A parody commentary or educational information maybe claimed as fair used, but there are still rules to this, and it’s best not to break the copyright infringement rule which is not citing or asking permission for using their work, for using someone’s work. And it’s best to cite the item even if you don’t know if it’s copyrighted, so please cite it just in case or else you might go to jail or pay fines. I got this from copyright on the web written by Jennifer Curden from about.com, the URL is http://webdesign.about.com/od/copyright/a/aao81700a.hml on January 17, 2009, it was copyrighted on 2009.
