Host: A lot of parents would think when the kids are little constipated, and they want iron in the formula, because they think the iron is causing constipation, but there are lot of study saying that if you don't Iron in the first year, and they get anemic it can cut the IQ. Are you saying the Iron should be in the formula?
Peggy Eicher: Yes, I don't think that taking iron out from formula actually --
Host: Just a little bit -- Golosky studied on 40, 50 thousand babies are severally anemic. Babies had a decrease in IQ, compared to babies who had the right amount of iron the first year. So it's very important, and since you are an expert in this field, that we want that iron in the formula in the first year.
Peggy Eicher: Definitely.
Host: And you know only if that can make as that much difference in the school production anyway. That's a big question that everybody believes, is that true?
Peggy Eicher: It's a very common thought that, if they get rid of the iron or the vitamin, that children will school better and basically it doesn't help.
Host: Like several type of studies say that the parents did not know what's wrong they had, and the amount of constipation is almost equal, so that story is certainly like comes up now and then.
