Veronica Delfino: It's the perfect balance of cabaret, circus, music and comedy. Hi, I am Veronica of watchmojo.com and today, we are getting a sneak preview into the 7 Fingers newest performance La Vie. La Vie takes place takes place in the purgatory of mind where sinners try to tumble, juggle, climb, fly or joke their way out of hell.
La Vie is the newest performance by the 7 Fingers, a group which you are part of, can you tell us about the group?
Faon Shane: Les 7 doigts de la main, The 7 Fingers. We started the company six years ago. Four of us are French-Canadian and we have French and two American girls.
Host: La Vie which means the life in English is said to be very provocative and adult theme. Can you tell us why that so?
Faon Shane: It was interesting for us to go little bit deeper, talk about emotions and thoughts and even political views and taboos that's we don't necessarily talk a lot on stage.
Veronica Delfino: So, besides that what else would people be impressed with?
Faon Shane: I think they will be very surprised with the content and the humor, the way that we also integrate sensuality, not sexuality. I don't want to go that far. But I think we like to play a little bit with the sensuality.
Veronica Delfino: You yourself specialize in Aerial Chain? How do you practice before a performance?
Faon Shane: It's not necessary a lot different. It's just that it looks different for the public. But is very similar to any other kind of circus operators, I would say. I would train the same way, I would train a lot outside of the chains.
Do mainly my main routines especially in a show period of time, I am not going to try new tricks or try to invent a new routine when I am in a show mode. So basically, it's maintaining at the moment.
