David Marotta: For every stock that listed on the New York’s stock exchange there is one or usually two or three companies that agree to act as a market maker. And a market maker always has to be willing to buy and sell that particular stock. So, for each company there is a market maker and that market maker is always offering to buy your self stock. They usually have a big pull of the stock that they have to keep on hand.
