What Hoopilates Is

What Hoopilates Is Dr. Travis: New York Pilates instructor, Jen Bleier, invented something that makes Pilates a little more fun than the usual type. Jen Bleier: The reason I decide to combine pilates and hula hooping is that I noticed that a lot of people found their workout to be a chore. The first time I tried hula hoping as a grown up, I couldn’t even keep the hoop on my waist. But just the effort of trying made me muscles the next day that I even as a Pilates teacher had forgotten. The hoops that we use are politely weighted so that if you are doing reps on the arm, you’re getting shoulder stability work for the back but you’re not adding that extra bulk. Female: I love the hula-hooping. I though it was for kids and it’s just fun. It’s sure joy.
