All right, so this is for all you bottlers I’m glad you're out there. How do you make coffee if you don’t have a coffee pot, if you don’t have filters, what do you do?
You only need a few things. Take a look. You’ll need some coffee grounds, any kind will do, any little bit of a handkerchief or a bandana depending on what you have and a bowl. And with these, we’re going to brew ourselves a little bit of coffee. All right, so I started to heat up a pot of water, it’s just on a light little simmer right now. So I’m going to go ahead, just throw the grounds right into the water. Cover this up. Bring it to a boil. And then when you’re done and when you think it’s hard enough and sharp enough, go ahead and strain it.
Now you don’t want to overdo it. As you can see, it’s got a nice dark color. So that means I’m ready to start the draining process. So come on over here. So what you going to do, nice and slow, start to pour. And as you can see there, the bandana is catching all the grinds. You let it sit there for a minute or two. Help it along with a little bit of a spoon and check it out. Look at that, all your grounds right there. Pot of coffee ready for you, your friends, or maybe your guests you spent the night.
Granny’s Irish Coffee
Now we’ve already brewed our coffee, we got it on this nice piece of glass so it’s easy for me to pour. So what I’m going to do is have my glass, my coffee, my fresh whipped cream, a little bit of the Irish. Now if you have sugar cubes, put 2 sugar cubes in. If not, just go ahead and put 2 little bashes of sugar at the bottom. Now that would be about a normal size but she has to go to work so we’re going let it and kick it up and pour a little coffee in. And you want to leave a little bit of room from the top because this is where the key part of it is, nice fresh whipped cream. Okay, you just want to go ahead and put this out over the top. And you can see how it’s sitting at the top and it started to fall down the side. That’s a perfect Irish coffee. If you like it, drink it and if that’s not enough have a back up.
