What Myasthenia Gravis Is
Male: Quickly see all the differential in this would be Bell’s palsy. What would they Bell’s palsy more likely if you spoke to some of the telephone and might grab less likely?
Male: Well, there's a weakness in Bell’s palsy, there's a weakness on one side of the face and involves all the muscles of the face. Myasthenia gravis although it can be; what we called “symmetric one side of the other.” It usually does affect both signs and preferentially will cause the drooping of the eye and not as much facial weakness as sever as Bell’s palsy but it can cause some facial weakness.
Male: Because they have a like a little discharge from the eye, it’s like the Bell’s palsy is affecting a lot of area.
Male: By mean, you could have a discharge because again, the eyes closure the problem. The eyes is not closing when it should be, so your by has constancy by tearing. But the other thing I want to mention also is that with the bell’s palsy, you may improve over several weeks with myasthenia gravis, one of the key feature is there fluctuations over the course of minutes or hours, much worst at the end of day, usually much better when you first wake up when you haven’t use the muscles as much.
