Of course I know about Ben Bernanke. Are you serious? You are talking about the guy who saw many people deem to be today the most powerful man on the world, Chairman of the US Federal Reserve. You do not know the Federal Reserve is? Check out WSYK #5. So Ben Bernanke, Harvard alumni who got his Ph. D from MIT and is a former tenured Professor of Economics at Princeton and also Chair the Economic Department at Princeton. He was sworn in as the 14th Chairman of the Federal Reserve of February 1st 2006. But the one thing you should definitely remember about Ben Bernanke is that he spent his entire Academic Career studying and learning what mistakes the US government made which may the great depression so terrible. And this is exactly the person you want right now to be a head of the Federal Reserve as the US Economy is deemed to be closer than anytime the past 75 years to another great depression.
