What Should You Know: Drinking Age

So when someone comes up to you and asks if you know about the drinking age? This is what you should say. Of course I know about the drinking age are you serious? You are talking about 21 the most anticipated birthday in
America and I am sure at this very moment you are either thinking forwards or backwards to the 21st birthday you would not or do not like me remember. So the drinking age is 21 and I am proposing we do a way with the whole damn thing. What? No drinking age the whole country is going to go to hell with a hand basket. Well in many parts of your, there is not really an enforce drinking age and they are still doing it all right but would not there be bloody car wrecks all over the country? All right let us talk about driving safety despite over relax drinking law the European Union average is 95 driving fatalities per million people. The United States a hundred and fifty fatalities per million people. So what is the difference? Well in most to Europe you got to be 18 to get behind the wheel but in America in some state you can get your drive on at 14. So highway safety is what you worried about? You might want to raises the driving age. Currently kids all over America wait for the day they turn 21. Finally, finally I can legally consume alcohol. But until that day I pledge to be felon and during couple amounts of alcohol behind close doors, away from my parents, and educates because that is super safe and totally red [laughter] but if you take alcohol down from its high pedestal it takes away all the hysteria and becomes just another thing like salt. So make food taste good but in excess can kill you and just recently a large collection of college presence have suggested we take the drinking age back down to 18 well that is a damn good start. So now you maybe like college president great potato make laws the government will never let this happen. Well now here is a fun fact you do not hear everyday. Each state actually has the authority to set its own drinking age. But there is a catch back in 1984 Federal Law mandated that the state picks anything less than 21 as its drinking age that it can loose 10% of its Federal highway budget. It is all about roads people, it is all about roads. That is what I know about the drinking age.
