Hi guys and welcome to today’s video diary. Now a little bit different; we’ve got a few different thins going on today; starting of with one of the most questions that I get asked the most often when I get to dinner parties or with friends and they find out that I’m chef is what do you cook yourself at home.
Now the truth is if you’re cooking all day in the kitchen, the last thing you want to do is probably come home and cook again. I prepared something today that I would have as an idea of a meal and I we’re going to eat it in about 30 seconds as soon as I film this.
First of all, stake—medium rare. Got some sirloins today and it usually we go for rib eye but they only had sirloin but that’s looking actually delicious. A little bit of pasta, toss it off with a little bit of Pepperonchino, which is an Italian chili and basil—really nice, good extra virgin olive oil; toss all that together and a salad with fatted Cheese. Give me that seven nights a week and I’ll be the happiest person in the world. That is what I would love to eat all the time.
And the reason I’ve cooked it is actually was because of this shown, the other guy and I thinks was out to making a speech at some business-y la-di-da thing today and he got giving a presentation of the wine. Now I successfully managed to wine it off him—too complicated but I ended up with the wine and I’m just going to taste them.
Basically, it’s a Chianti—very famous Italian wine and it’s absolutely delicious and I’ve took the information down below and by all varieties of grapes and blah-blah-blah. I’m not really into wine and that’s another point I wanted to make. I love wine actually. I have been to it but not into the sort of details out of this. There are really cool things that are happening on the wine at the moment; people like Gary Vaynerchuk. Even a couple of people that are already making videos and they bring a total of it a lot better but I’m a big believer if you go into a shop and you find a nice bottle of red or a white, stick with it if it’s the one that you like. I love Chadon de Tifa love Crème Frome. Whenever I go in, I go straight for those, never been disappointed but what they’re doing with wine on the web at the moment is brilliant—it’s stripping away all that funny, dirty old weights that wine used to be and just totally demystified that; fantastic.
Last thing that I want to talk to you about today—this big pumpkin; no, Halloween coming up at the moment so it’s obviously, we’ve got to do something to pick up. When on the web, looking on a few videos today and it’s about a 150 videos of how to carve a Pumpkin, 300 on pumpkin soup, Pumpkin Rosado’s blah-blah-blah. So what I want to do is I want you guys to tell me what to do with the pumpkin tomorrow. I can either make a recipe with it. I can show you how to carve something really funky or pick it up and throw it out the window and bite it off on somebody’s head and knock them out.
