What do I need to make digital prints at home? In order to make prints at home, you would need a photographic printer. Several companies make excellent photographic printers, you just need to buy the right kind of paper. They are not as archival, as sending them to the lab which is another reason why I like to send things to the lab, but it is great to just be able to print something out. If you have a Thanksgiving dinner and you are like. Oh, here is our group picture. Let us just print it out.
