I am Steve Turano. Welcome to set up for body performance. People are still concern about their metabolism. They are worry about the metabolism increasing or slowing down, but done something wrong. What is going on with my metabolism? Well as a general rule for the average individual during normal daily average of life your metabolism does not change. Meaning the amount of calories you burn are daily basis only does not barely that that much.
The only time your calorie consumption or the amount of calorie your body burns changes is when you exercise. When put forth effort. As you move your body you then consumed more calories. You if we eat a little bit less or our calorie consumption or by utilization goes down a little bit and sure if we eat a little bit more our calorie regularization will increased a little bit more. But then again you have to make sure it will return. Eat too little and your body will be nourished. Eat too much in your body would get fat.
But during normal daily life your metabolism or your calorie utilization does not change much. So, stop worrying about how many calories your body is using and think about burning those calories up through activity. Do not worry about what you eat, eat what is your normally do, but simply increase your activity level because your metabolism is not changes that much day to day. Only at vary allied athletes, do they have elevated metabolism. And even then their metabolism is release and elevated so they are burning more calories where they are burning is a higher percentages of fat during normal daily life, but that is another video.
