What is Intelligent Auto? What is Scene Mode?
One complaint I hear all the time is that cameras are hard to use. And people won't just wanna be on a take the camera, press the button, and take a picture. Well the good news is most cameras today, most digital cameras they have a mode where does just that. It’s called in Panasonic, Intelligent Auto or Auto on other camera modes. But basically, the Intelligent Auto mode, what the camera does, it automatically takes the type of scene, figures out when it’s daylight, night time, whatever, and automatically it makes the proper adjustments. Of course, if you wanna be a little more creative, you wanna overrule it, you can go into the scene mode where you actually can set a particular scene and there basically a series of choices. What they’ve done is they take a professional photographer to figure out what they would do in that situation, they pre-programmed it in the camera for you. So it’s like having a professional photographer along telling you what to do. So you can pick a setting for a, for example, a starry night. Or you can pick a setting for a birthday party or a close up of a, a portrait or a flower or something. Of course if you’re really are an expert, maybe you are an expert photographer and you wanna carry a little camera with you, very simple, just flip in to manual and in manual mode you can set everything yourself and have complete control of the camera. So, cameras today can be really simple. Leave it in Intelligent mode, press the button, takes pictures, don’t have to worry. Scene mode, you got a little bit of control over.
