Doctor: You got a shank.

Doctor: They usually shanker, it is an ulcer. It is a painless ulceration on the penis.
Interviewer: And the women?
Doctor: In women, the same thing. It is a painless ulceration on the penis.
Interviewer: And the treatment would be what?
Doctor: The treatment is usually Penicillin.
Interviewer: Okay, but we do not see as much as they used two years ago.
Doctor: That is correct.
Interviewer: Okay, but I think it is coming back a little bit.
Doctor: They think it is coming back a little bit. And right now, you know, years ago, I mean you had to see this thing. And everybody that was going to get married to have a VRL and it is for syphilis. Jus to make sure that you did not pass the syphilis. Right now, you have to worry about that thing because right now, you have bigger gangs that you have to worry all the viral diseases that you have to worry. You have the HIV and you have the Hepatitis, the B and the C which are very prevalent and they are tremendous amount of prevalence of that thing. The AIDS is very common. And the HPV, the papilloma virus.
Interviewer: Are all the big subject right?
Doctor: That is a big subject and it is very common.
