Rona: The joy of movements is the secret of fitness. Hi I am Rona from watchmojo.com. And today we are taking a look at a workout that is inspired by your body. So, what exactly is the Nia workout?
Lucie Beaudry: It's a combination of morcellized stunts and also other approaches like something cries yoga and some techniques so its kind of fusion of the basics of these techniques or methods.
Rona How that Nia workout inspired by your body?
Lucie Beaudry: The two creators of this technique there will be a Carlos Rosas created a kind of work out and inspired on natural time, that means that people are invited to move at their own speed or at their own written, we often work with a kind of movement of reference, so lets say we have something going on with the feet but the upper body is free so you can create your own movements its learn about exploration which is something everybody can do there is room for all kind of body or if you have history lets say injuries its always possible to treat movements and make them work for you.
Rona: Then Nia -- is no pain or gain but how can one expect to see results?
Lucie Beaudry: We think that, if you have fun you have pleasure moving you will keep going with your exercising and second I think the body is intelligence so you can trust your limits then you can evolve with them instead of fighting or struggling with them, so it's a more soft way to exercise and workout and you have results any ways.
Rona: Working people expect from their first in your class?
Lucie Beaudry: They can at least expect having fun, so I always invite people to do at least one class, just to be sure that it's what they are expecting. And I would say you that most of the time if it's not all the time they come back just because they had fun doing it. There is no pressure and is about our performance. So we try to bring people to move for themselves flourished. I think is the reason why we can mix many kind of profiles and different ages in the same class. Every body can feel comfortable because it's not about performing it brings us somewhere else.
Rona: Oh thank you very much.
Lucie Beaudry: You are welcome.
