Host: What purpose should students expect to achieve at a college fair?
Jerome Cole: I think that the expectation should be that, a student should go with the idea of, there are going to be 100 schools here or a 200 schools here and I am going to hit four or five. Set a reason what expectation, make sure that you get the each type of, make sure that you get some face time with that individual.
Normally, they all have these little cards these little post cards, so they ask you to fill out. It takes all like two minutes to do, so make sure you do that, make sure you shake the person s hand, look them in their eye, say to them very, very clearly, hi! I am Jerome Cole, I am from X school, that kind of thing. Ask some questions about the school, so always have one or two questions in mind about things which you are going to ask that individual and so those should be your expectations, get to four or five schools and then you probably get out there, because those things can be very, very chaotic.
