But with the number of the animals in our country that need homes, it is guaranteed that eventually you will find what you are looking for in a shelter. You just have to stay with it and be patient. But over a quarter of sheltering animals are pure bred, so even if you are looking for a pure bred dog, you can and will find it in a shelter. You just have to stick to it.
