Test this tip
You can deodorize a smelly sponge by soaking it in a bowl of lemon water and microwaving for 60 seconds.
Laurie: Hi, I am Laurie from My Things. Today, we are going to test the tip that you can disinfect and deodorize sponges, even if you have used them to say soak up the juices of a chicken. Just by soaking it in lemon juice or vinegar, and then putting it in a microwave on high for one minute.
So, this is in fact a very smelly sponge. So, we are ready to go.
Alright, so now we have our bowl of water and we are going to get as much lemon juice in the bowl as we can. And we are going to take the smelly sponge and submerge it.
Get it all soak in there -- alright.
