Hi! I’m David Lupberger with servicemagic.com.
Have you ever had the experience where you’ve been in the bathroom but the hairdryer or have been in the kitchen, turned on a microwave and toaster at the same time and the break goes through?
Today, we’re going to talk about how to reset those breakers.
First thing you want to check is to see if you have a GFI plug or circuit. These are located in bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoor environments wherever water is located. You may find that if the circuit has been tripped, all you have to do is reset the circuit, you’ve your power back.
When you open the box, you’ll look at your circuits, and you’ll probably see one in the off position. What you want to do is take that circuit and make sure it’s all the way off, push it back on, that has reset your circuit. If this doesn’t solve the problem, now it’s time to call a pro.
