Male Speaker1: A lot of people are concerned about wheat and gluten and celiac disease, but wheat allergy itself is one of the cause of celiac disease, isn't that true?
Male Speaker2: Correct. Yeah. When we talk about allergy, there's a certain type of immune response or allergy response that gives a true allergy when someone gets severe abdominal pain or rashes or difficulty breathing right after eating. So that's more like allergy, where the Celiac is due to ingestion of gluten that's part of the wheat and this is not an acute reaction. This is something that builds up over months and years and it's a different kind of immune reaction. It's not that typical allergic reaction.
Male Speaker1: But the antibodies, the aggulatate and chorminoligical (ph) IgE, is that correct?
Male Speaker2: Correct.
Male Speaker1: The one word about celiac causing celiac causes, what kind of an antibody that usually is?
Male Speaker2: They are more of the class IgG and IgM antibodies and there is also another type of immune response what we call a delayed type of hypersensitivity of the allergic reaction that plays a role in the celiac disease.
Male Speaker1: Well, a lot of celiac certainly have a low IgA, and if you do certain antibodies test, if it's not as significant along IgA circulating, you can't have an antibody. So it's a little bit difficult. But the point we are getting across, these are the same kind of antibodies you would normally have and a practice like you have analogist, this is a completely different type of one.
Male Speaker2: It is very different.
