Host: If for some reason the kid seems to be crying more, the kid is under four months, a very common question, oh, I want to feed the kid some solid food. Does that make sense? Abraham Jelin: Kids under four months old aren't developmentally ready to tolerate solid food. Host: So you would highly recommend not the practice of starting solid food. Abraham Jelin: I would try to delay it, to at least four months. Host: Four months of age; sometimes you go a little bit longer. Abraham Jelin: Right. The current recommendations are four to six months. Host: Okay.
