Hi guys, and welcome to today's video blog, there is something completely different today. I walked over and it's different everyday. Now I walked over to the fridge an hour ago looking for some main start and I am working out right here, couldn't find anything. I would like you guys to walk by three or four times and there just wasn't anything there, but I couldn't be bothered walking in shops. So what I have done is I have grabbed sort of a mix of ingredients, and I am going to rustle up some really tasty pancakes, and these are sort of the American-style pancakes.
You know the ones that are a little bit thicker, might not be familiar with them here in Europe, right. So, a little bit of flour, but there is no recipe, there is no exact ingredients. It's always the chef's responsibility to know how these things work, but you just play around your pancake. Now, to make these chocolaty, very cool, you think to prepare this a little bit of chocolate milk, right. So normally in pancakes, flour, eggs, milk. We are replacing milk with chocolate milk. So in that goes, don't be put off by the color, that will change very soon. And then some little blackberries, blueberries, that are absolutely going to be really delicious.
These are quite common in American pancakes, and what happens to these is once you cook them, you are going to bite into them and there is going to be a huge burst of flavor, really, really delicious. One last ingredient, I have never actually done this recipe, so it's sort of thinking on my feet, but I thought this would work pretty well, is Milkybar. So I am just going to break that basically as the people in America and stuff like that, white chocolate, sort of got that cult following over here. Just break that into little pieces, like that, and then whisk the whole thing together.
Now what you will find with pancake though, that's what I said, there is no recipe exactly. But you can see in there, I brought it together, it's still quite thick. You want it to be sort of runny, but not too runny. So if it is too thick, end with a little bit more milk, and if it's too runny, end with a tiny little bit more flour. And to make into those pancakes that are probably sort of thicker ones, little bit of baking powder. Just the tiniest little bit, I hate when the stuff gets -- it's like add in, as it go along, I think it's more fun with that.
So put it back together, and you can see it's just starting to come together, and it has a nice sort of smooth consistency; absolutely perfect like that. So what I am going to do is, I am going to just go put those really quickly on the pan now, we should end up with absolutely delicious pancakes.
I am still looking forward to eating these, it didn't take me really long to cook it all. I could smell as I was cooking, but they were literally, absolutely delicious. Little glass of milk is all you need, and if I just sort of cut in there, you can see that blackberry has just burst and full of flavor, funny little piece of chocolate. Chocolate is melting down the side there. Absolutely delicious, I could tell this by looking at it.
Wow! I am not just saying this with another way chefs down there at the end of every video, they are like, it was amazing, but those are absolutely mind-blowingly good. They are so delicious. I have got a little bit of chocolate running down the back of my mouth, absolutely gorgeous. Just a couple of things left in the fridge, do it yourself, just go and have it go. Don't be trying something stupid like putting salmon into a cake or something like that, but that's a really simple one; chocolate pancakes, blueberries. Sounds like it makes sense. If it sounds like it makes sense, go and do it.
That's it for today. I am going to enjoy these and go back to work. Cheers! Talk to you tomorrow.
