Hillary Kerr: Hello and welcome to the Who What Wear Fashion Closet. I am Hillary Kerr.
Katherine Power: And I am Katherine Power.
Hillary Kerr: And today we are going to talk about what to wear at your various holiday parties.
Katherine Power: Whether your party is downtown, mid-town or uptown, you can make one dress work for all three.
Nicole Richie, one of our goto celebrity muses, looked absolutely fabulous in her pretty party dress and cool leather jacket. We also love the festive look we saw on gossip girl, Jessica Szohr, in her green dress and downtown accessories.
Finally, we have up and coming actress, Emma Roberts, in a bright violet dress, cropped blazer and opaque tights.
If you have quite a few holiday parties coming up, try to find one solid color dress that you can dress up or down. Keep in mind that you can always switch your shoes, your outerwear, your jewelry or even your makeup to fit at different occasion.
Hillary Kerr: This is the time to add a little extra sparkle to your outfit, whether that's for the glittery piece of statement jewelry or even a metallic eyeshadow.
Katherine Power: When it comes to versatility, strapless dresses are the best because they look great with any outerwear option. For Stella's downtown party, we gave her a cropped motorcycle jacket.
Hillary Kerr: To funk her look up a little bit more, we added some lace tights, a suede pair of ankle boots and this long strap purse which is very 80s.
Katherine Power: For the midtown party, we wanted to make her look a little bit more corporate. So we just added a blazer over the dress.
Hillary Kerr: While this look can definitely be worn with a classic pair of pumps, to make it a little bit more fashion forward, we chose this open-toe pair of ankle boots from Nine West.
Katherine Power: Finally, for the uptown event, we went more formal. We gave her a sparkly statement necklace and a feather clutch.
Hillary Kerr: Since she's bare up top, we covered her legs with some black tights and finish the look with an amazing pair of silver shoes.
Katherine Power: Thanks so much for watching Who What Wear TV.
