Who What Wear: Runway to Realway: Dolce & Gabana

Katherine Power: Hello! Everyone. Welcome to the WhoWhatWear TV. I am Katherine Power Hillary Kerr: I am Hillary Kerr. In today's episode we are going to take a look at the fall collection for D&G and translate it into two much more wearable looks for real life. But first let's check out the collection as seen on the runway. Female Speaker: A very traditional pattern boldly took center stage at the Fall D&G show as nearly every look on the catalog incorporated at least two flat pieces. Model showed off nearly every variation imaginable, and wore outfits spotlighting tights, trousers, blouses, jackets and scarfs. Sometimes all at once. Hillary Kerr: The cutest thing to the D&G look is to mix and match two different plaids. The easiest way to do this is to choose one piece in a large check, the other in a smaller print, and make sure that the two pieces share the same color pattern. Katherine Power: Another great way to channel these collection is to pick up a pair of color tights that match either your skirt or your dress. Hillary Kerr: Our first look for Nora is the more fashion forward of the two. For the skirt we went with the big bold plaid, and then gave her a smaller check shirt from Elizabeth and James as her top. Katherine Power: And for her legs, we chose red tights. But if it's a little too fashion forward, you can always wear bare legs. For Danny, we found this adorable dress from the Gap. And instead of putting the scarf on her head like they showed on the runway, we put this one around her neck. To finish the look we gave her a long shoulder strap bag and a contrasting pair of blue tights. As always, thanks for watching WhoWhatWear TV.
