Article writing secrets, how to create free traffic to your website.
Now, we all want links back to out website. You are better to link with sites that are in your niche. And primarily you want a link from them to you but you do not want to link to them. So, I understand you, but that is what you want. So if you have a link trade, they pretty well balance each other out. What are search engines looking for? They are looking for you to be this hub of the wheel? And they want authority sites pointing to you. They want social sites pointing to you. They want link backs from articles. They want link backs from directory sites. That is what you are looking for because that is what they are looking for.
Now here is the secret that a lot of people do not know about article writing, you need to publish consistently, set up a schedule. Do not stop and start. Do not write two to three articles and then do not do anything for three weeks. Keep it on a schedule to two articles a week and then just another short article where you find something on the web that was really worthwhile then you link to that.
Now, in your article, you will comment on the salient points of that article. If you create four or five articles do not publish them all at once. If you use the new WordPress version 2.5, well enough you can actually schedule the article to publish at a particular time. Use that feature, it is pretty nice.
Now there are some problems doing this, you can have to go for the long tail, the long tail keywords. What is a long tail key word? What you will look at a probability curve, maybe you took statistics, most of the activities in the center real close to the mean and then as you get out towards the tails you will find that there is much less activity. You cannot compete in the center. Those are popular keywords that people will bid many dollars for over the paper clique and they are trying very hard to get them. So what you do is you go for the tails. You would have to be able to find out where the tails are. You can use tools such as add word analyzer, or word tracker. You got to buy those but they work very well. Or you can just use Google’s keyword tool or another, a good one that is free is the SCO Book which is called the http://tools.scobook.com/keyword-tools/scobooks/ all those slashes are forward slashes.
Another one is SpyFu, you will find out what the people paying for paper clique. You will find out whether they search words or wholly search or whether they are not. I like to use SpyFu and Ad Word Analyzer as a pair. It works very well for me. And I am looking for keyword phrases. If you will not find a keyword you are going to look for keyword phrases. And when you do the search makes sure that the keyword phrase is in parenthesis. That means I want this exact phrase. Now you are going to look for all about 2,000 searches per month, that is not a lot of searches but it is a good number and you want the total number of results to come up when you search to be about 10,000. That is the hard part. You are going to find search terms or search phrases you put in there and there are maybe 80 thousand or 2 million or you are really in the wrong place. You need to find something that is about 10,000 even 5,000 results could be perfect. So what we do in this keyword phrase. Now, this is the important part.
First thing you are going to do is to use it in the title of the article. That is what tells as the search engines what the article is about. Now they are going to read your article using these robots and they are going to look for how many times you referred to this phrase. Your optimum is about three times per hundred words. So if you have a hundred words you have written, you should have used that keyword phrase about three times. But of course do not make it sound stupid because if you forced it, yes it works if somebody reads it, it is trash, so do not do that. You want it also in the last sentence of the article because if you are going to do a summary and you are talking about a particular topic, you probably
