Folks, this is another video in the selection that I am doing entitled, “Why does a DJ use?” In this one, we are looking at something called the T-bar. Why does a DJ use a T-bar? Right, we are not going into great detail. This is a T-bar. It is what known as telescopic so you can get it higher or lower. And there you go it is called a T-bar because it shaped like a T.
Now then, very quickly there is a light, you imagine a DJ without a T-bar, he have to put his lights on the floor or on a table or on a chair. On the full table or chair, they would not be very secured and steady. And more importantly, if you imagine now I am now in front of that light. Let us say I am someone dancing, so no one behind me is going to see that light. The whole idea of a T-bar is simply like this. If I just put the camera on the stand and point the camera up to the top of the T-bar, you should hopefully get a general idea. I will take the lights and what now, the light should be fitted very securely not just put on as so. Now, if you can see my head now, there is my head at height of that and the light is well above me. So what is happening now is the light now can shine over everyone’s heads and everyone in the back of the room can see the light. That is why a DJ will use a T-bar because it heightens the light at a level whereby everyone can see it and also the light can shine all the way around the room without people being in the way.
Another video for you, this is why a DJ will use a T-bar. Thanks for watching. Practice and enjoy.
