Gwendolyn Fancavillo: A lot of times the media or a peer pressure convinces people to start smoking or to continue smoking. It's a cool thing to do. It makes you the cool, makes you more mature and adult like. Some people smoke because it helps them lose weight or it helps them relax, but technically it is a stimulant. So even though it your relax it's really increasing your heart rate. It's really increasing the functions in your body. So it's really important to get away from the stigma of smoking and realize its very unhealthy behavior.
