When I say the word Windows, what is the first thing that pops on to your mind? Now, if you are geek, where I taught Microsoft Windows or painful experienced, work screw shing pane. Maybe it is window pane, well that is the window that I am talking about. A window, you know the thing that sets on the side of your house, I ask for a top five list of all kinds and Demitri decided to take me up on that offer an submitted a top five list for tinting your house, why you would want to do it?
Hey Chris, I have been watching your videos for a long time and I decided to submit a top five list in the field I worked in. The world of tinting industry is growing rapidly and people talking about tinting, first thing they comes up there mind is their cars.
That was I thought off everyone out there has seen a tinted car but I decided to submit a top five list for tinting your house. Why? Number one, saves energy, you will be surprise you can save up to 20% on your total heating and cooling bill, saving money is always nice. All I do not think Poncy would never let us tint our windows because it is great enough as it is, here in Seattle. Number two, it protects your stuff from fading, and here is a great chance to protect the valuable furniture and rags. Most films out there block 99% of ultraviolet and that is the ray that damages any kind of color that fading and everything.
Number three, it produces glare, annoying glare can cut dramatically by window films, I did it myself, window films so blinds and drapes can stay open and occupants can continue to enjoy the view. Number four, do your homework, research different companies what they offer, 3M is very well known name but it does not mean it would be the best choice, Huber Optik has a ceramic technology which beats any medaled films out there, it provides crystal clear view, high definition effect, it will not darken the room but it will cut 85% of the heat and not annoying glare. Medaled films are very reflective where ceramics are not. Number five, it will pay for itself, prices range around $5 to $8 square foot.
Window film installation has a payback period of three years in most cases, making it extremely cost effective improvement for homes and businesses; it is a very smart investment. Bunos tip, you can get a tax credit return on the energy star logo film, Huber optik was also voted one of the ten inventions of going green. Dmitri, thanks for the suggestion, I know that we are always looking for ways to cut on our energy bill every month here at the Pirillo household, the gnome stead as I used to call it way back when. I will pass this list along to Poncy she thinks. If you got any vendors in the Seattle area that you would recommend, I would love to work with them, were possibly, just get a bit on how much you would cost to cover a house.
It is all about saving money, I may not down, I am totally down especially you said what is this new one? 85% of the heat not annoying glares and maybe worth it, it would not darken the room, this new kind, I have to check it out, I do not know anything about it but I guess so I will become a quick expert. Thanks for the recommendation. Now, if anybody else has a top five list for energy saving tips or money saving tips or tips of any kind, I would love to see what you got and share for the rest of the community and it is interesting enough, I will share it to the rest of the community, my community. My email address is chris@pirillo.com and of course we have a chat room that is open pretty much right now. It is open all the time, there is an hour, makes the internet, I mean there are no hours posted, right? In the chat room, we will typically talking about technology, usually talking about the other kinds of windows but we all have to leave somewhere and we have to do with ultraviolet light. And then unfortunately, some of these have to deal with very expensive energy bills. So taking any tips you got, certainly welcome you soon by the chat room, if you can, we are open all the time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at live.pirillo.com.
