Mexico’s 32 states are truly diverse as each one has countless tourist destinations offering a wide array of activities. Mexico is a travelers’ paradise crammed with a multitude of opposing identities, desert landscapes, ancient ruins, glitzy resorts and world beating collection of flora. This mix of modern and traditional is the key of Mexico’s charm whether your passion is flowing back margaritas or scrambling over Mayan ruins. There are many volcano peaks in Mexico the highest being Arizaba at 5,639 meters.
Mexico is enjoyable year round but October to May is generally the most pleasant time to visit. The May to September period can be hot and humid particularly in the south and inland temperatures can approach freezing during December to February. Nothing is more secret to any Mexican than family. It is the foundation on which life is built. Mexican social life commonly centers on family get-togethers be it christening, weddings, birthdays or fiestas. Mexico is rapidly becoming a golfer’s dream come true. Some of the world’s finest golf courses are located in the beach resorts and major cities of Mexico. Cabo San Lucas is finally getting some competition as the undisputed golf capital of Mexico. Puerto Vallarta and Cancun are looking to take some of lost Cabo’s action as golf destination. Both have boats and courses to lure golfers to their resorts.
Wherever you go in Mexico, you will surely feel a lot of contrast, get a few surprises and are sure to find friendly colorful people that are eager to show off their beautiful country.
