Wikipanion iPhone App Review

Wikipanion is another app for the iPhone that allows you to easily format a website, this time being Wikipedia and view it directly on your iPhone. It does allow you to do a few other special things like see all the links in a specific article which is very handy when you want to scan through to a specific area of that page and all of the links that bring you to further parts of that page do send you down there appropriately.

The app is a very useful if you use Wikipedia a lot but Wikipedia is a fairly text in terms of website, so it is not that difficult to use the web version. Unlike some of the other apps that have come out using Wikipedia, this one does allow a back function like a simple Safari browser. The ability to see everything formatted specifically for the iPhone and makes it much easier to read as the font is much larger and you do not have to scroll horizontally, you just have to scroll vertically. Overall if you use a lot of Wikipedia, definitely you check this app out. If you just search on every now and then you can probably go without spending the money for an app that just uses a formatted website.
