So the same way that a tree draws nutrients and water up through its roots and out to its branches, we are going to do the same thing. So you are going to take your thumb on your ring and your pink finger, extend your pointer in the middle, take the fingers up, open them out to the sides and already you might start to feel amazing new things in your arms, in the muscles of your arms. Point down and breathe. So this looks deceptively simple but I know that my dancers behind me can speak for themselves and tell you that when they first did this it as really eye opening.
You start to feel all of the muscles waking up in your arms. So really press the backs of your risk away and now here comes the real challenge. Take your finger tips up to the ceiling and breathe through here. If this is too much for you, you can always relax and shake the hands out but do your best to hold this as long as we do. Drawing earth energy up and out through your beautiful branches and shake it out. So that is called the wing tip flex.
