Victoria: Hi! I am Victoria and I am going to tell you a little bit about winter dog care. My dog, Hector, loves the snow and he never seems that he has cold but that could be taken into course. So, I am going to tell how to take care of your dog in the winter. Any extreme weather conditions, dogs contract scent in the snow. So, when there is a big snow storm and you are taking your dog out for walk, maybe keep them on the leash but if he looses you and he doesn't know which way is home, he is not going to be able to smell it. So, you might lose your doggy. So, keep him on the leash in the snow. When you come in from the snow or the rain, make sure you give him a good wipe-over forceful because you'll be able to see, he is going to be wet and a little bit cold, but also because he might pick something up from the chemicals, if he lives in the city, the salt. If he licks his paws, it might make him feel better. So, just make sure you give him a good wipe-over. Obviously, in the winter time, it is not very good to give your dog a really short haircut. So, fashioners always telling me doing it, just keep it long, it's going to be warm. If you got a little short-head dog, maybe you think about buying him a colorful sweater that even have these little doggy boots too. So if you want to get it up, you can. I have said this before and I am going to say it again, don't ever leave your dog in a cold car because it's like a fridge and he will freeze and he will die and you don't want that.
